Spirit Radio Microphone

The Spirit Radio I've been experimenting with, can surprisingly be used as a crude microphone and can even record audio sounds! Here I show how this can be done by simply attaching a magnet to the outside of the radio box.

There are no batteries or power supply for the Spirit Radio. Besides the two antennae, it consists of an inductive coil, a couple of capacitors, a resistor and a diode. That's it!

The Spirit Radio uses the power generated by it's antenna to deliver a weak audio signal to the computer sound-in port. The signal is amplified and altered by the mac software program Audio Hijack into what you hear.

The Spirit Radio hears all! Better be careful what you say, hehe...
